Here is a couple of Christmas DIY’S to make your house very festive for the holidays.
Rustic Sign
Supplies Needed: Small wooden sign, dark brown paint, light brown paint, and a white sharpie or paint pen.
Take your sign and paint strokes of the brown paints and then wait till paints dry and I wrote Sweater Weather but you can write anything you like.
Log Cabin Candle Holder
Supplies Needed: Small glass cup, some twigs or sticks, glue, a ribbon or any color, and a tealight.
Take your cup and hot glue on the sticks all the way around the cup then tie the ribbon around the cup and place your tealight in the middle.
Half And Half Ornament
Supplies Needed: Clear round glass ornament, glitter, glue, tape, and modge podge.
Take your ornament and tape off the half way mark. Then dip the bottom half in clue then dip or cover the ornament in glitter. Once it’s dry cover the glitter in modge podge to protect it from any glitter falling off.
you can also make this ornament by taping off the half way mark and dipping the bottom part in red, green, or white paint.
Festive Pillow
Supplies needed: An old pillow, a red pillow case, glue, and glitter.
Take your pillowcase and write in pen Merry then trace over the merry in hot glue and glue down the glitter let the pillow case dry and enjoy.
Personalized Stocking
Supplies Needed: A stocking (you can get these at target for a $1) Glitter Glue.
Take your stocking and in glitter glue write your name or a phrase you like.
Polka Dot Mug
Supplies Needed: A white clay mug and a gold sharpie paint pen
Take your mug and with your paint pen draw polka dots all over the outside of the mug and make sure it’s a sharpie paint pen because that won’t come off in the dishwasher
